The Ram baseball team took advantage of two days of rest and arrived at the Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) tournament Saturday ready to play. The Rams beat the Raptors of Ridge View (Holstein) 7-3.

Beger had two strikeouts and two walks. He allowed three hits and two earned runs.
Junior first baseman Alex Rasmussen got his first home run of the season, a line drive over the left field fence in the top of the second inning. He also hit a single. Junior Colton Fitzpatrick hit and double and a single and had one RBI. Nelsen scored an RBI with a single and also hit a sacrifice fly that brought in two runs. Junior Dylan McConnell hit a single that brought in a run. Junior Zach Fouch, senior Wes Tipton and Beger all had singles. Pinch hitter freshman Mac Adamson hit a single in his first varsity at bat.
